749 and 999 tps (variable resistor) is cast into the throttle bodies, so no adjustment. linear output, you'd see around 300mv fully shut and 4v fully open. setting procedure is just a referencing step for the ecu, tells it what voltage equals idle. could be bad fuel, bad fuel filter, dirty coils, etc. brad
