TPS on all 749/999 are ECU set, they are not pots
You will need the Ducati service "tool" ie computer to troubleshoot and fix
if it is the TPS giving you the problem
I would take her to the dealer if she's up for maintenance.....
here is some pricing set by Ducati for service:
600 mi $225.00
6000 mi $525.00
12000 mi $750.00
18000 mi $450.00
24000 mi $750.00
If it's one of the cheaper services.....it might be worth your time
good luck

The TPS is a voltage varying device. It has a supply voltage, generally .5
to 1.0 volts, and reference return back to the ECU.As far as the plugs are
concerned , I throw away the Champions and run NGK or ND u-tip or u-groove
in just about everything I own that is gas powered. One thing you might try
is to clean the plugs, let the bike warm up and go for a pass. When it
starts to cough, stop and pull the plug that is easiest to get to and look
to see if it's black and sooty or light and dry. At least you'll get an idea
if it's fuel or ignition related. Let us know what you find
