[Ducati] New Years Ride!

Today I just experienced a first...taking the Ducati out for a ride on New Years day....in Ontario Canada!  When I stuck my nose out the front door this morning it was amazingly warm out which of course means... time to wake up the Ducati.  My wife Lynn also agreed it was time for a New Year coffee run so I unwrapped her little 883 Harley (which of course was adorned in new "Bling" that Santa Clause brought her...and installed) and my '94 900SS and they both woke up with a charming array of mechanical music,doing an odd duet in our garage.
 
We boogied down our favorite twisty roads to the local Timmies coffee shop where we met a bunch of local motorcycle enthusiast who had the same idea.  The roads were dry and all the salt had been washed away by days of rain so this was a rare occurrence indeed. It felt great to get on the bike and it was like the first ride in spring, I can't get over how quick my old 900SS feels when I've not been on it for a while.  Anyhow, it was a great way to start of the New Year if you ask me, plus I got to test ride my new Ducati leather riding pants I got for Christmas.  This global warming thing is not all that bad :)!
