Thanks for making the dyno charts available. I agree, re-mapping is in order. Still, definitely the best stock street legal Ducati yet, especially considering the $$/torque ratio...
What I slightly dislike is the "peakiness" in the torque curve, especially the slope between 6 and 8 K. If you're a little lazy shifting, i.e. drop the revs to 6 K and power out of a corner you're more likely to highside than on a 999 or Z10 -- assuming similar chassis/setup/tire grip. This may or may not be an issue for experienced racers, but for an occasional track day junkie like me???
I've got a Guy Martin tuned 998 (145hp/94 octane pump gas on Doug Lofgreen's dyno, 80ftlbs torque, but a much more linear curve, all at 998cc, of course). Rides like a champ. Then again, that's just a slightly upgraded 998 chassis, can't wait to ride a 1098 on track in direct comparison...
