[Ducati] 1098 gauges

The review of the gauges in Africa was spot on. The tachometer is a
waste of space on the 1098. I checked with the reputable firm of J.C.
Whitney to see if they had anything better. Nope, their $39 tachometer
requires a mechanical link up. No person with normal eyesight will be
able to receive any use from what comes with the bike. None of the
rest of the stuff on that gauge cluster is intuitive, either. I
recommend the Italian engineers go sit in an old 1986 Toyota MR-2 to
see what 'intuitive' means.
