Well, Mike, I really didn't want to have to post on this topic again,  
but obviously it means a lot to you, and you feel some need to  
discount my story, so here we are.  I don't have any Google records I  
can point you to, just a strong childhood memory from 45 or 50 years  
ago.  Maybe the recollection has become distorted over time, maybe  
I'm a pathological liar, maybe all those drugs in the 60's are coming  
back to haunt me.  Believe what you will.  It was my father and my  
childhood, and I really don't care what you think.  I wasn't sure  
whether I should post such a personal thing in the first place, and  
you've convinced me that I shouldn't have.  But I'll never forget the  
fear and anxiety of being awake in the middle of the night while my  
mother frantically called my father's friends and co-workers, trying  
to find out why he hadn't come home from the meeting in a city 35  
miles away.  I really hope it never happens to you.

And if you really believe that there's no violence in the unions'  
histories, then take a reality pill and do some more Googling.
