Yes, I have been to China; no, China is a developing country.  It does not
compare to the U.S. or other developed regions like Europe or developed
countries like Japan.  Perhaps I should clarify 'developed' vs.
'industrialized'...didn't intend to cause confusion -- no more early AM
posts for me :)

My point, however, is still the same.  U.S. ranks at the bottom of the top
35 'developed' countries in the world (excluding Singapore, which really
isn't a 'country') wrt income disparity and is barely better than several
Latin American countries that are former police states.  Furthermore, the
trend in disparity in the U.S. is not improving.

Politics? No, just factual economic information.

Really, have you ever been to China?  Or don't you consider China
industrialized?
