FWIW...the U.S. has the largest disparity in income between its richest and
poorest citizens of any country in the industrialized world.  This disparity
has been on the increase for many years, and this long term trend is not
good.  The strike at HD, which is important to those few hundred people
involved, is a tiny issue.
