Hi Guys
I have been reluctant to enter this discussion but I do have a few sort
comments. I am and have been a dues paying union man for nearly 37
years. The unions are in my opinion an important part of the free market
system they help balance the scale so to speak.

Corruption is everywhere but so is honesty and integrity no one group
holds a monopoly on them.

Wealth is not limited it grows. As Buckminster Fuller put it wealth is
equal to intelligence times energy, since neither is limited so too
wealth is not limited. The world could not and should not go on with any
one group having and another not having. And this need not be at the
expense of any one group over another. Everyone can and will prosper
eventually. The richer the Chinese are the less of a threat they become
and the same goes for all people. This helps explain the issues in the
Middle East too.

My personal experience is the argument between management and the unions
always shows up the failure to communicate. At this point and time I
feel the union has the weaker argument. HD can and might send production
to Mexico that would take all of a year tops.

I just wish they would not take my union dues to support political
candidates I don't support.
