Is there anyone on the List who was there at Daytona when Cook won this
race?  I was.  I kept my T-shirt from that race for a loooong time, as
tattered as it became, just as a memento of that race.  I've not been a
fan of the Daytona race for a long time, but this might well encourage
me to return.  A great new location organized by Vicki, coupled with
Cook Neilson and Phil Schilling as special guests.  Doesn't get much
better than that. Just two weeks ago I mentioned to my brother (who went
with me to that race) that I remember interviewers like Barbara Walters
asking their interview subjects the question "If you could have dinner
with anyone in history, who would it be?"  She'd get answers like
Leonardo DaVinci, Thomas Jefferson, Jesus Christ, etc.  I told my
brother that I'd like dinner at a large table with Cook Neilson, Phil
Schilling, Gordon Jennings, Kevin Cameron & Kenny Roberts.  I'd just sit
back, continue buying them drinks and listen to the tales they'd tell.

It's finally ready to announce the details and there's lots of big
news, 
starting with - We're moving to Daytona Speedway!  Prime real estate
too -  
"Ducati Village" right at the base of the Nextel Tower with Ducati
parking as 
part of the package.   
Ok, that's cool but this is better - Cook Neilson and Phil Schilling are

going to be the Special Guests. And they have agreed to give a talk
about the  
whole deal back in the day - Old Blue, racing superbikes, working at
Cycle.  
You're just going to have to trust me on this - these guys are the
living 
history of the most important event in US Ducati history and being able
to listen 
to this story from them in person is a not to be missed  deal.
