Mark, I hear ya man. It's the QUALITY of the ride, not the QUANTITY of miles that is most important.

I also have raced in all types of weather. Mosport is located in an area know as the "Ridges". It's been known to have sunshine at 
Start / Finish while raining in the hairpin. In fact, back around 1985-86 the feature race of the Victoria Day Sprints had to be red 
flagged. We lost a dozen bikes in the hairpin in just two laps. It was raining at Start / Finish but it was snowing down at Moss' 
corner.
