I'd take it outside and start it up as soon as it's dried out, after I
checked the air box for water of course.

Well, power is finally back on. After 2 days of 100mph plus peak winds and
over 7" of rain, I am glad to have some heat and light (not to mention my
internet connection)

 

The roof in my garage sustained some damage from a large tree branch hit,
and the Duc got pretty soaked.  It is in my family room now drying off.  No
damage that I can see, just really really wet!

 

So, my question is - anything special I need to do to dry it off?  Anything
I need to worry about?

 

Hope the other NWer's (and the NEer's for that matter) made it out okay!
