I'm with you guys who are annoyed by the use of feedback as a hostage. My  
policy is based on a timeline: Seller posts auction, bidders bid, winner pays,  
seller leaves feedback, winner receives item, winner leaves feedback. The 
winner  leaving feedback before the seller doing so messes with the natural state 
of  space-time, and I don't go there. Plus, I can get spiteful when people try 
to  manipulate me. :-)
