[Ducati] Fw: ebay feedback

Ebay is a business designed to do one thing very well---provide a platform
(a conduit if you will) through which information and money can flow in
exchange for goods. That's it, nothing more. Ebay is an impotent,
toothless entity with regard to dispute resolution or equitable enforcement
of payment or delivery.
It is a platform that has been developed to discourage unfair trade, but is
powerless to enforce anything. All of the bullshit dispute resolution
rhetoric on the website is just that...words...words designed to give you
enough comfort to list more product for sale and buy more product. They are
making too much money on sales fees and PayPal merchant fees to be bothered
dedicating any of their resources to helping you with anything other than
listing your goods and buying the goods of others, period. Also within the
motorcycle community we have an additional complication--the multitudes of
retarded chimpanzees breaking down bikes in their backyard and selling parts
on ebay in order to pay next months rent.
Approach ebay with this awareness, be cautious with anyone on the other
side, pay attention to the feedback, and you will be OK most of the time.

100 transactions
(60 sales and 40 purchases including two motorcycle purchases)
100% positive feedback

I like to leave it last, if you send it, the buyer can then post that they
never got it or it was junk. By waiting, you can force them to prove to the
shipper it was damaged or whatever needs to be done.
