Ever wonder why no one except for Rossi has ever won a MotoGP race on a
Yamaha? Ever! Even when Bridgestone tyres were shite!

Rossi is riding equipment that is probably worse than what Stoner had last
year, and yet he is in second place for the championship. Suzuki and Honda
are clearly better bikes, and Kawasaki probably too. It's not that Michelin
tyres are all that bad, its that Rossi has to ride the brakes and corners
harder to make up for a shite bike. Michelin riders are second and third in
the championship.

When Rossi bailed last year at finale, it was because the crappy Yamaha had
an overheating problem (after blowing the motor in two previous races) when
running in a pack and lost power, so Rossi went for the desperation move,
and crashed in the process. Rossi is still the best rider out there by far.
Of course if Sete hadn't taken out Capirossi, neither Hayden nor Rossi would
have been champion, considering that Capirossi went three races with
virtually no points, and would only have needed to score 7 more points per
race during that three race streak.

Meaning of course, that Stoner ain't champion yet, altho I am betting that
will be settled before he even goes to Phillips Island.

Please, don't let Sete on the damm race track between now and then...

I also believe Rossi has been on underachieving equipment since moving
to Yamaha, and that still hasn't stopped him from winning a
championship on it.  Let's not forget that if he didn't bail that last
time last year, Nicky wouldn't have won a championship.

This is why they race folks, because anything can and will happen.
