[Ducati] Questions about 748R vs 998

I've had my '02 998 for 2 yrs. and 10K mi. and it is absolutely the best 
bike I've ever owned. Can't imagine not having it. I know nothing about the 
748R, though. So, I'm not trying to make a comparison.
