[Ducati] fix or part out '93 900ss

Sorry to hear Redwood rd is out for the moment. Hope it is back in service
for next Laguna. It sure was fun to take our leisurely trip back from
Laguna Kevin. And going up Redwood road sure brought back some ancient
memories, although it was a bit shocking to see how emasculated the area has
become, what with the dirt riding park area compleatly gone. After we split
at Skyline Blvd, and I headed along and up to Grizzly Peak, it was sad to
see that some bicycle guys were riding the old off and ons as we called
them, the dirt trails that would leave Skyline then come back. We used to
roar along those on our limey singles, and my little 250 Scrambler for many
an hour in the old days. Now all off limits for the likes of us, while the
cyclists still get the usage apparently. Up and over the hills, down to
Orinda village via El Toynal and then bear creek canyon out towards Martinez
on my way to Pinole. Stopped to see an old friend (Fred Mork for AHRMA fans)
as he is recovering from a foot injury from motocross. Still great fun to
ride the many good roads of California, and I didn't see a SINGLE DAMM DEER!

Peter

(Riding down my street yesterday, half a dozen deer crossed the road in
front of me, including three very nice bucks!)

Ask me what I'd sell it for - don't even ask, it's not for sale. It's
waiting fo!
r the next run down Redwood Rd. (which, BTW, is being resurfaced, so is
covered with gravel - so, watch out, you East Bay riders).
