Yes of course Mark,

and I was going along with it, especially turning around the quote about
NASCAR and MotoGP that came up on the CBS version of MotoGP earlier this
season

But something everyone on this list should remember, is, that in my entire
(your entire) career in NASCAR (nonexistent in my case), Dale Earnhardt (the
real one, not junior) only won on a roadcourse once more than me (because he
only won one NASCAR roadrace in his life).

Of course I am sure that some of you out there really are NASCAR fans. You
might get pissed at me for demeaning your little roundy roundy circus, but
hey if you try to chase me, I know I can always get away easily just by
doing a right turn :-)   (on my Ducati of course).

Wonder what kind of Oil those NASCAR guys use???? Would it work well with
Desmo valves?  (goody goody, an oil thread and NASCAR)

Nah, I was just funnin', feigning some outrage over a perceived injustice
(it's the American way, after all).  I'm actually well north of the
Mason-Dixon line, and would rather watch paint dry than watch a NASCAR race
(roadcourses excluded).
