Hello,
I've got a 900ss from my father (he passed away in sept. last year) the
engine was rebuilt 300mi. ago(by Dad) and he also installed a volt gauge.
The gauge reads around 10.v at idle and 12. when cruising when i asked him
about this (prior to his death) he told me everything tests good. and you
dont spend that much time at idle. any hints or tips to solve this problem?
I dont know a lot about it's rebuild other than a the heads were sent off
for porting it has 12.5:1 compression and with that compression you dont
have a lot of crank's from the battery.
 Thank's in advance.
Kevin
