A few months ago I asked the group about my 1999 ST4 stalling intermitantly 
at slow speeds.  Not being able to solve the problem, I took the bike on a 
long trip into East Texas.  Big mistake....the bike died on me in the middle 
of nowhere.  I traced the problem to a bad connector between the alternator 
and the voltage regulator.  Since fixing this problem my stalling problem 
seems to have been resolved.  Does this make sense?  Any thoughts would be 
appreciated.  Gordon Massie
