My girlfriend's mother was born and raised in Italy.

My girlfriend ONLY speaks Italian.

I go to Italy several times a week, usally on foot, as my girlfriend lives
100 yards from the border (we will probably walk to Italy tomorrow for
dinner).

My kids speak Italian at school and with all of their friends, as well as
with my girlfriend (but not to me or to each other, nor with their brothers
who do not speak any Italian).

I speak Italian with most people at work (and French to most of the rest),
and with most of my riding buddies, some of whom I've been riding with for
over 20 years.

And I bought my 999R directly at the factory earlier this year, with all
dealings done in Italian (except for some emails in English).

Two of my sisters have Itaian last names (which my girlfriend finds rather
amusing), but not a drop of Italain blood.

So, are any of us Italian? The only ones who seem to think so are my neice
and nephews in Connecticut.

Tom
