[Ducati] Do 1098's have ECU problems?

There is a good discussion about 1098 stalling problems on the DucatiSpot, including two possible fixes.

  Mine stalled once coming to a stop at a traiffc light, but I only have 400 miles and have been on vacation.

The 1098 was 25k out the door. If anyone is thinking about it don't bother. The ECU is total garbage. After running the bike for a 
while it stalls out and won't start again. A guy had it happen to him while riding Isle of Man and the bike went down. He slid for a 
while until he was hit by a car. 90% of them do this...

The "replacement ECU" makes the bike run at 1800 RPM warm or cold an is down on power. Lot's of the guys on Ducati forum are pissed 
and since the only tech support is in California, this isn't going to get resolved any time soon. Maybe 1 in 20 new ECU's fixed the 
problem without causing new ones.

Oh well, first run bikes, first run cars, same thing. Always shit for the first year.
