[Ducati] Newbie

What, no fan of the 5 speed, FZR 1000 motor? Hey, the YB8 is the ultimate Pizza delivery bike! I like the looks of bikes from the early 90's, twin headlight period, and the YB8 is mechanically and aesthetically nice and no slouch to ride. I haven't had much trouble keeping up on street rides, and when the canyons fade in the mirrors to sweepers, it is a great bike, stable, albeit heavy steering, and has a nice, throaty ooomph sounding thru those twin KN pods on full chat that'll stand the hairs up on the back of your neck. OK, I'm not an afficionado, but I know what I like. Hand built chassis with nice billet triples and swingarm pivots, wrapped in sculpted bodywork, that runs like a scalded ape? Nice, until you have to adjust the valves.......then it's time to break out the floor jack.

List the ways to define 'character'. It has many of the definable attributes, esp using the Italian definition.

Yawn - now if you had said it was that Bimota SB8K powered by the
TL1000s motor, I might have thought you were an afficionado.

;-)
Pags
(very jealous over here with only 11 bikes in the garage)
