Well Dreamer..we're glad to see that it's not "Sweet Dreams" forever. The alternative can really be devastating to your riding style! <tongue-in-cheek>

I gave up on TV over eight years ago. fed up with the crap that was being put out. Most was an insult to my inteligence and I won't go into my other rants on programing.

My problem is that now I can't get caught up with my reading! Although I've always been a prolific reader mixing mags and books for material, I'm getting deeper and deeper behind on my reading. With 2 bike mags, 6 gun mags, 3 military history and one Quarterly, National Geographics, Smithsonian, along with the monthlt info magazines, my house is leaning! My Bernard Cornwell and Curtis Ford books are falling further and further behind.

Thing is that with my current move, I came across a bunch...and I mean hundreds of olde mags from way back in the fifties and sixties and seventies...I did too much snooping and not enough moving this weekend...but OHOH the memories. 130 mph test on the Norton Commando Proddy Racer, tests on the "new" Brit triples, the SL350 Honda, hot roddong the Norton. Also came across the original Classic Bike mags from the start that I got when in England. Just couldn't find the article on my bike..it's in there somewhere..just need more time..and that's in damned short supply!!! <LOL>

That's one thing I miss on the new generation of bike mags..very little theory, very little articles on fixin', hoppin' up, trouble shooting, rebuilding, etc. I used to read them cover to cover, now it's a cursory thumb through just catching the articles I want to read.

Well..got kinda misty-eyed for a moment with the magic of the past...Hopper
