[Ducati] Is your dealer shoving it in your pooper?

I've un-crated two "R" models bikes. All we did was to adjust the handle
bars into position. Install the windscreen, pour gas into the tank, and go
racing. Both of the bikes where still in the sealed plastic bags that they
come in from overseas. Both times I sat there scratching my head at the
450-700 dealer prep. Later in the up coming weeks we stripped the bikes
down, only to find things well put together. I tip my hat to the boys in the
race dept overseas. I've been on this list for too long and have heard all
kinds of horror stories. So I can understand where Alex is coming from. A
friend owns a new 1098 S. It was the filthiest new bike I've ever seen. I
couldn't believe it was so dirty. I'm talking grease! I then thought about
the dealer prep fees, as well as he did. Needless to say that dealer isn't
getting any business from the bike's new owner.
