Firstly I'm glad to hear that you've put the difficult part behind you.  It'd be nice to see you and Linda down South for one of Calandro's events soon.  

The irony with the NASCAR crap is that even my friends who do like NASCAR say it's gone too far, and that they don't watch that stuff either.  I went to my first drag race yesterday in Commerce, GA and got a taste for what we're up against.  Those races are *popular.*  Oh, and this was on a Friday.

It was a lot of fun and my eyeballs are still shaking from the whole experience.  The machinery isn't anything I can even describe there was so much too see.  I'd still rate it beneath any biking event I've ever been to but a good time nonetheless.

You should take heart.  Soon we'll have universal IPTV and be able to watch what we want!
