[Ducati] bee in the bonnet

Ahhhh, the Lovely Bee in the bonnet trick. Lets see, been stung on the Adams 
apple, had one crawl into my helmet and sting my ear lobe,and my favorite, 
right between the eyes. That one swole up so bad I almost couldnt pull my 
head out of the helmet. And I looked like one of those Cavemen on the Geico 
commercial. It was some fun times living in the orange groves but my moto x 
helmet wasnt very bee proof. I think as far as your helmet is concerned I 
think you will be ok but if I remember from my composites course that any 
chink in the armor can theoretically lead to failure during hard impact 
because the surface has a point of origan for stress fractures. I have 
dropped every helmet I have ever owned and a few I have actually tested (not 
on purpose) and had no issues.
