[Ducati] Strange Clutch Problem

On my 748 there is an adjuster on the clutch lever-  the little pushrod 
which is attached to the lever can be screwed in and out to adjust 
clutch engagement.
Mine has a locking set screw in the barrel on the clutch lever- hope 
this helps!
