[Ducati] 50% Less Maintenance.............

I have owned a 97 916, 04 999S and now 07 S4RS.
Great bikes (RS the best). However, I think the new low maintenance is a
scam.
I contacted Ducati America and got a large ..... story with no facts, or
identifiable saving other than extended miles for service.
I'm still going to service at 3000 miles with belts every 6,000. Check valve
clearances every 6000 and have adjusted, if needed.

My Fellow Ducatisti, I have a question concerning Ducati's ads saying
that the 2007 models "now" have greater intervals between services. What
differences are there between 2006 and 2007 models to justify this longer
mileage between service schedules ???? Thanks for helping me understand
this new practice by the factory. Ducatikid
