Harlyn...check your connection on your negative ground lead on your battery. Clean it, dielectric grease it, then retighten it. Next check all you battery connections...solenoid the starter stud..same regimen on them too. Then squirt a bit of either (starter fluid from your freindly local auto parts emporium) into your air box, then try to fire it up. 
   
  But remember...ETHER/STARTER FLUID is HIGHLY FLAMMABLE!!! Treat it accordingly!
   
  Shouldn't have any problems then. If you do, then for a nominal fee, I'll take the bike off your hands!  <LOL>
