There is a Ducati dealer in Albuquerque - the only one in New Mexico,
as far as I know. The racing facility is on the other (West) side
of the Rio Grande, a quick hop on I-40. And there are plenty of
twisties to the north. In town, it is very rare for the temperature
to stay below freezing on even the coldest winter days, though it
would probably make Floridians and Texans shiver uncontrollably,
especially since it can get down to 0F at night. Since ABQ is close
to 5000 feet elevation, it doesn't get that hot even in mid summer,
though many houses have evaporative coolers to deal with the noonday
sun.

As others have pointed out, the Multistrada would make the best all
around motorcycle for use around there.

Don't ask me about Central Colorado (I live in Buena Vista, elevation
8000 feet). The only employment around here is as a prison guard or
as a maintenance worker at one of the ski resorts. And my 907 didn't
get out for 3-1/2 months.
