sounds like they fitted the same pump to my cagiva elefant....
when the pump on my cagiva elefant broke ended up going to a local
(car) breaker, and bought a similar pump from a car. (some small
peugeot/citroen)

i adjusted the pressure regulator back to the 3 bar it should have, (
to be honest i didnt check the pressure before the pump broke so it
was probably off all the time)
and ended up with a 15 euro repair instead of the 800$ pump...
