Yes I live in Albuquerque. It's about a million people, city sits at
5,000 feet, mountains on the edge of town are over 10,000. Lots of
great roads and lots of nice stuff to see. We do get winters and snow,
but it's a really long riding season. Bike registration is cheap, cars
too. Housing is affordable, though it's gone up alot in the last 3
years, but if you commute from Rio Rancho you can find a new 2,000+ sq
foot house for $150 to 180K. Let me know when you come to interview I
could put you up for the night and show you my 750 GT's, 1973 and
1974, Beveldrive beasts.
Summers are warm, but being at 5,000 ft not too bad, seldom get over
100 and the humidity is low. Nice place to live.
