Hi Tony,
 My guess is everybody is working on WDW and this is a lower priority  at the 
moment.  Normally the tickets can be bought from the website or the  museum 
store closer to the event.  The Desmodromiclub of Rome organizes it  - if you 
mail them they can confirm it's on and then you can just wait for the  tickets 
to come available. Here's the address for the English speaking club  person -
