NO NOT WAX CARBON!!!! good carbon typically has some holes in it.
You can sort of see through it. Wax will just get in these holes and
collect dirt. I suggest sanding the entire surface with 1000 grit
sand paper getting everything smooth and nice and scuffed... then you
can simple spray on a clear coat over the top of the carbon. I did
this to some old carbon on my SS and it worked great.
