[Ducati] WAS.... second bike NOW... SNOW, OH NO!

I have just got to jump in here. I just got back from my daily ride on the
back roads around my place. I put on 70 miles, never touched a State or US
highway, never had a straight more than 1/4 mile, never saw a cop and was
never farther than 20 miles from my garage. Every day this week has been
just about the same only the route was slightly different every day.
Temperature is 60F and the sky is a clear blue.
My biggest regret right now is that I will not make DFS. Our son is flying
in to Atlanta next Saturday from Iraq. Guess which is more important.

Hello Wally,
I'm envious of all the riding you have done this year. My riding this year
has not been alot. I've been too involved in remodeling my house. What a
pain that is, but I need to get it out of the way, though I don't see an end
to the project. I really don't have any exucse since I'm not working at the
present time, but have been working on the house six to eight hours each
day.
Ducks Fly South will be a great time, and hopefully you'll have good
weather. I've been meaning to attend each year, but I guess I keep putting
it off. Maybe next year-last famous words. Have a good, and safe trip.
Take care.

SNOW IN CANADA BY HALOWEEN..... Oh, what a horrible thought but, let's face
it, it won't be long here in Pa. before it's the end of the season. I'm off
on the 916 to Hiawassee, Ga. next week to US Desmo's Ducks Fly South which
will probably be the last long trip of the year. I've got my enclosed
trailer
all set to push two bikes into for storage this Winter to free up some
space in
my shop for projects this Winter. Oh, to be back in EXPENSIVE CA. where I
rode year round!
