I wave no matter what (unless I don't feel comfortable taking my hand off 
the bar) Waving is a courtesy we extend to each other as if to say, 'hey 
fellow biker brother/ sister, nice to see you out on two wheels, be safe.' 
Its not a, 'I waved at you now you have to wave back at me', contest
I used to take it personal when I didn't get a wave back, now I don't care. 
Its either their anal retentive problem, or they just cant take their hand 
off the bars. Maybe they just didn't see me. I like to think that they are 
just afraid that if they remove a hand from the bar, the bike will fly 
wildly out of control and lead to their 2 wheeled demise. It just doesn't 
matter. Perhaps if enough bikers wave at them they will lighten up and wave 
back.
