[Ducati] WAS.... second bike NOW... SNOW, OH NO!

Living in Edmonton and riding mostly around Alberta I am confronted by many
chilly mornings. A few weeks ago on an early Sunday morning ride with a few
friends the high for the day was forecasted at around 20 degrees C but the
temperature in the morning was probably around 10 degrees C (approx 50 F).
After about ten minutes of riding I was really chilled even wearing jeans,
boots, gloves, leather jacket, long sleeve pull over shirt, and full face
helmet. It was that kind of chill that really gets your fingers and gives
you a few good shivers every couple of minutes. Anyhow, the funniest thing
happened as we were riding on one of the quiet (except for us) secondary
highways we passed a guy riding a Harley wearing jeans and a T-shirt, no
gloves, and one of those tiny beanie helmets on. He didn't even have one of
those bank robber kerchiefs over his face to give him that extra protection
from the elements.
At least he waved and we all waved back.
The wave...
I am curious to know who out there gives the wave?
Do you give it to all bike riders or just guys on sport bikes?
Generally, it seems the Harley guys are to cool to wave and they rarely wave
back.
Cheers
G.
