[Ducati] Cooked battery: Part two.

Glad you found that problem! It might just be me but I am under the impression that once a battery plate is exposed to air then that plate or cell is damaged and may not be trusted.

The battery ( wet ) is the stabilizer for the alternator. Dry its like its not in the circuit. 
Lift the battery lead off when something is running and watch it spike.
