Doh !!! Man was I stuck on stupid. Had to share this embarrasing moment with
my buddies. Remember I thought I had a charging problem ? Then I tested for
availible voltage at the sterter and it was OK. So , I think brushes.
Nope......I was about to take everything apart and the first thing I do is
remove the seat, lift the tank, disconnect the battery, lift the battery out
into the sunlight and shock of shocks..........My battery is bone dry, or as
close as you can get. I buy some distilled water and hook it up to the
Battery Tender, the battery that is, for a few hours and like magic, she
starts! I check the voltage at idle, 13.5 to 14 and at 6000 it reads 14.5
and nothing higher. Hallaluya and Amen Brothers and Sisters !!! Funny that
the longer I twist a wrench the stupider I get.....Sheesh ! But thanks for
all your input and suggestions. Thats what makes for a great List.

Peace...Ron"Desmohead"Betts 95 900 SP
I've learned that I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy it!
