Whilst killing some Sunday morning time in anticipation of today's Japan GP, I caught up on some backed-up DVR races. On lap 2 of the San Marino world supersport race, there is, I think, the ne plus ultra of hyper announcing. Our favorite knucklehead says, "Aww, Brock Parkes came from nowhere to take the lead!!!" As if he practiced and prepared to say it this way, his voice, with each word, ramps up higher and higher in pitch until, with the final word, he sounds like his testicles have just been scwozen. It's worth a listen if anyone has it recorded. Anybody know how I could capture that sound bite from my dvr and post it online somehow?
