Subject: [Ducati] Big announcement in November
In a write up I posted to the ICR list(Intrepid Cafe Racers), just after the AMA Road Atlanta Races....
Some gossip.... Paul of "old" Athens Ducati who "worked" until recently at Atlanta Triumph Moto Guzzi Ducati will open his own official Ducati dealership later this year just outside Athens Ga., in Watsonville Ga.... the name is NPR Ducati.
"There was a lot of discussion of Ducati pulling out of AMA, but Paul said that last month at the dealers meeting Ducati announced that something really great will be announced in November and he and all the dealers had to sign a secrecy agreement before they were told. My guess is that Ducati will build a factory in Chattanooga, No really!"

GP seat. An American on the red bike would make up for the lost AMA team
nicely. :-)
I was told by a Ducati dealer/friend to expect a "big surprise" in
November...since Rossi's got another year with Yamaha and we all know what's
happening with the '07 bikes...maybe????
