either direction all day."

Yes I love that kind of riding too. My Bro-in-law work for the Forestry 
Dept. and knows every cow's track in our part of the Blue Ridge. We haul ass 
pretty good, but always stick to our side of the road. Having said that, 
just what is our side of the road on these little unlined back roads. Many 
of the locals who frequent these road speak of a phenomena, "cutting the 
corner". It means that as a matter of convention they regularly cross over 
onto "your" side of the road.



So, although I love these roads less traveled, as it were, I ride them with 
some trepidation.
