[Ducati] 907 swingram issue ??

About 150 miles ago the upper mounting bolt on the rear brake master
cyclinder started to rub my swingarm. I assumed that since the bike had
been knocked over on the right after a BMW fell on it and I low sided once
on the right, the footpeg stay/brake reservior bracket had been bent. Now
both of these accidents happened years ago and there has been no problem
until now. I bought a new bracket from Ducati and that turned out not to be
the issue. I also dropped my shock linkage to get a feel if the swingarm
was moving side to side but neither I or a buddy was able to get it to budge
at all.
Any ideas what would cause this to suddenly rub????
Thanks.
