As far as wiping out in a corner with no one else around, say you hit an oil slick, whatever (not hotdogging) that can be viewed as... well, I don't know what it would be viewed as cause I'm not an insurance agent. However, I went ahead and purchased uninsured motorist insurance on my plan with dairyland. Basically I was told by the agent that obviously it is for those scumbags who drive without insurance (lots in texas) but it would also cover me if I were run off the road and the guy didn't stop. Could be viewed as the same thing since the oil slick was not your fault.

As far as wrecking a bike on the track... When you play with fire... If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen... Let's see what other cliches can we put in there?

I rode bulls and broncs for 8 years and I paid all my hospital bills (there were quite a few) I didn't have insurance as it is hard to insure a roughstock guy. Point is, I knew the risk and I didn't ever expect anyone else to pay for it. Now, if you found an insurance company that would insure your bike on the track, let me know and I'll see if I can afford the principle.

Ok, but what about those of us who have wiped out in a corner with no other
vehicle involvement? In my case, I don't have collision, so it' doesn't
matter, but for those who do?
