I remounted the regulator to the underside of the lower fork clamp, where it is guarenteed air flow, on my Monster 1000. Turns out the harness is just the right length for the remount. I just made sure the harness has a nice radius so the movement of the front wheel won't result in broken wires. I could send some pics if anyone's interested.
