[Ducati] Multi 620

Anyone here ride a Multistrada 620 that would care to share what the  
ride is like?  Especially anyone that can compare it to the 1000 (S  
DS especially, especially).  I know those 2 bikes are a world apart,  
but I'm wondering if for half the price the 620 wouldn't meet my  
needs.  I'm really looking for something I can put some long hard  
rides on and I'm wondering what you give up in reality between the
