Mike, I was also there. Were you the guy in the blue shorts? :-)
KR was incredible in that race. After starting last he was in about 7th or
8th place coming out of either turn 2 or 3a. I can't really remember where
we were along there, but it was the most incredible bit of racing I've ever
seen. Didn't he go to Europe after that season?
