[Ducati] what will I do now?

Absolutely awesome:
Ducati WSB Champions (again)
1-2 Ducati finish in Valencia
Bayliss taking his first ever win in MotoGP on the last 990cc race as a stand-in
Pedrosa giving way to Hayden
Hayden taking the world championship, Capirossi taking third
Rossi proves himself to be human like the rest of us (well, remotely like the rest of us anyway), and beatable
Victories spread among Rossi, Capirossi, Bayliss, Hayden, Melandri, Elias, and Pedrosa - lots of capable winners, close spreads, and fantastic racing
The miraculous return of KRJR as a real contender on his dad's team after an unexpected withdrawal of support by Proton for Team KR
Real sportsmen worthy of idol status (with only an occasional lapse)

Things missing this year (IMHO):
a Rossi/Hayden face-off with Hayden coming out ahead
Edwards
Giberneau
Suzuki and Kawasaki wins (still, close but no cigars)
Would Doohan still call Capirossi a one-lap wonder?
worse yet, what is there to do now that it's all over? {...withdrawal symptoms setting in.....}

Does anyone think next year will be - could be - as exciting as exciting as this one has been? 800 cc bikes, Stoner on a Duc, return of old-blood Barros and Oliver in MotoGP and Biaggi in WSB, lots of other rider shuffles, no new up-and-comers in MotoGP???

Mike
