NDC.
One of the things I like about this group is what I learn, and can experience
when we go off topic like this. When a thread goes on beyond my interest and
endurance, I just don't read the posts. Sometimes I'm bothered, and rarely
offended, but that's life - it is only through struggle that growth occurs.

Manners.
I wasn't offended or upset by Alec's statement, although I disagree with Nicky's
right to thank God. Is thanking God anymore offensive to believers of other
cosmologies than saying "what would Jesus wheelie?" to Christians (I'm atheist,
just so you know my POV).

God.
I've already told you what She, I mean He, said, the last time I spoke to God
about all this (and I do hope my levity does not offend those who believe in
God, which brings me to....)

"Non-believers"
I'm sure there are many non-believers, that is, those who do not believe in any
cosmology, including those that have a supreme being as an agent. I am a
believer, but not in God. I have other explanations for the universe and mechanisms for knowing how to live. My beliefs are the result of years of
searching, questioning and thinking, and not merely an absense of belief. This
is a very long discussion which might tire the ducatisti, but I'd be willing to
discuss it off line.

Ducatis.
Okay, I've had my little rant. I've got to go out and tend to the bikes now.
